Workshops

I conduct ongoing novel workshops for writers in the greater Baltimore, MD area who have works in progress or are just beginning to do so. These meet for a full day (either Saturday or Sunday) once each month. There are a maximum of six participants per meeting. Each writer can bring up to 30 pages per session.

Sign-up for each meeting needs to occur at least a week in advance because the participants need time to provide their work to each other (by email, fax, or snail mail) in time for it to be read before the meeting. We can then spend up to an hour discussing each writer's work.

These workshops are designed for writers of all skill levels, so long as they are serious about finishing their novels. I will share my experiences dealing with publishers, agents, publicity agents, and movie executives as well as the knowledge gleaned from a lifetime love affair with writing.
